American versus European Giulietta Spider Versions
The main differences between the American and European versions of the Giulietta Spider involved the optics (head and tail lights) and gauges.
- Side marker lights:
For the Giulietta Spider, the European vehicles came with side marker lights mounted on the front fenders and the American versions did not.
- Rear taillights:
Red lenses were installed for the American version whilst the European had amber.
- Gauges:
The European model had Italian script as well as metric readings. The speedometer went from 0 to 180kph. In the US, the gauges were in English with the speedometer going to 120 mph for the “Normale” version.
